Differences between Android 2.1 and 2.2

I recently upgraded my Samsung Galaxy 3 from Android 2.1 to 2.2 (through Samsung Kies).
Here are the differences between Android 2.1 and 2.2:

  1. A noticeable improvement of speed (i was afraid for the opposite)
  2. The most important improvement is the ability to install applications in SD Card (in 2.1 you have to use only the internal memory of the phone).
  3. An other big improvement is the ability of using Adobe Flash 10.1. (I missed Flash a lot before the upgrade). This helped a lot the ability to watch more videos in internet (most of the players out there requires flash).
  4. You can use your mobile phone (Wi-Fi connection) as a Wi-Fi Hotspot (so you can share your internet connection for up to 8 devices simultaneously
  5. You can use your GPRS Connection for your laptop through USB as a modem (USB tethering).
  6. There are a lot of graphics improvements (more use of colour and font changes which improve the functionality of the devices
  7. There are small improvements in Camera, User Interface, Device Policy and Media APIs
  8. Improvements in support of Microsoft Exchange 2.1
My Samsung Galaxy 3 is now faster, easier to use, it is not limited to it’s internal memory and can surf to almost all web sites without important limitations (Flash).
